Social Media - Google+ for Small and Medium Businesses

It may not be clear to SMBs how Google+ is really different from the many other social media platforms out there or what it offers that they don’t, but traffic on Google+ is growing rapidly (it increased 55 percent in December) and is expected to reach 400 million by the end of 2012 (more than half that of Facebook). This article details five ways SMBs can get in on the action and what it can do for them, from simply creating a business page to tracking how their content spreads using the “View Ripples” function. In the current social media environment, SMBs can’t afford to neglect any platform or to assume that one is as good as the next.
