(BOISE, IDAHO) ProTeam®, the company internationally recognized for innovative vacuum technology, introduces the ProGen™ 12 and 15, the Next Generation of upright vacuums. The ProGen is reliable and durable to ensure low cost of ownership with the ergonomics and filtration users expect from ProTeam products.
“ProTeam invested significant time and resources in the development of the ProGen,” said ProTeam President and CEO Matt Wood. “We researched and applied the latest advances in technology, incorporating leading-edge features to provide our customers with an outstanding solution for their cleaning requirements.”
Repair of the ProGen is simple and user-friendly with four push-button access points to check for and clear blockages without using tools. The brush roll and filters also remove without tools, making the ProGen easy to maintain. Exclusive animated dashboard shows when the vacuum is operating normally and alerts the user to a full filter, airflow block, or brush roll jam. Automatic shutoff and thermal overload protection shut down motor if warnings are ignored.
“ProTeam specializes in lightweight backpack vacuums, but there are situations where a powerful, durable upright is essential. We knew we could bring our design experience to the upright market with the ProGen,” said Vice President of Sales Rich Steinberg. “We offer the ProGen in two sizes with HEPA Level Filtration and ergonomic design to bring ProTeam innovation and quality to the clean-air, single-motor upright category.”
The ProGen comes with 12- or 15-inch powerhead width and large rubberized wheels for smooth maneuvering and easy threshold clearance. Low profile powerhead cleans under furniture as ultra-bright LED headlamps illuminate the cleaning path. Lightweight anti-fatigue handle provides comfortable operation.
Independent laboratory testing of the ProGen by the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) confirmed higher performance standards in soil removal, dust containment, and surface appearance change, earning the ProGen the CRI Seal of Approval Silver Level. ProTeam (www.pro-team.com) became a global phenomenon in the commercial cleaning world in 1987 after introducing a game-changing design innovation, the lightweight backpack vacuum. Scientific studies and maintenance crews consistently find ProTeam vacuums save time, money and resources while improving indoor air quality. In 2009, Emerson—a diversified global manufacturing and technology company—acquired ProTeam, and the legacy of innovation continues with the Next Generation of backpack vacuums, the Super Coach Pro® and the cordless GoFree® Pro.
